Annual Review: Quentic’s growth continues across Europe

Software as a Service provider Quentic looks back on a successful year in 2021. The company gained nearly 100 new customers from across Europe, hit important milestones in product development and continued to secure its position as the leading provider of software solutions in the HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) field as well as in ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) management. Looking towards the future, the company strengthened its position and efforts in the sustainability field and joined the United Nations Global Compact.

The coronavirus crisis as a chance for digitalization

Around 100 companies located across Europe and ranging in size from medium to large corporations have taken advantage of the chance to strengthen their health, safety, sustainability and quality management with Quentic’s modular software solution.

Companies such as Porsche Holding, Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG, Africa Mobile Networks Ltd. and local municipal communities such as the city of Leiden have joined the Quentic Community. Quentic has also welcomed companies such as Nordex Group in the Northern European Markets, the French SATEBA Group and the Italian food manufacturer Princes Industrie Alimentari over the past year.

“The current developments outside our home market of Germany make us especially proud”, says Mark Knill, Chief Sales Officer at Quentic. “More than a third of the new customers we were able to win over to Quentic come from outside of Germany. This is proof that Quentic has successfully implemented its strategy for internationalization. We want to continue to build on this success,” announces Knill.

Internationalization a key focus in product development

To meet the needs of medium to large companies that work regionally or internationally, Quentic builds on a modular software solution that maps to international standards and does so while staying flexible. For example, the new Incidents & Observation module introduced in 2021 was the recipient of noticeable international interest and has since revealed the power of Incident Management to bring together all relevant EHSQ areas. Along with traditional accidents and unsafe situations, Quentic users can report and evaluate quality claims, environmental and property damages with the new module – an enormous upgrade in terms of a company’s ability to easily increase visibility, acceptance and safety at work. User-defined incidents can also be configured. Recording and tracking corona infections is also an important use case here, as well as the implementation of modern safety approaches and integration of positive observations for integrated HSEQ management with Quentic.

Individual customization options for country-, industry- or company-specific use cases were a focus of the most recent updates to international hazardous chemical management. Flexible and configurable storage classes and inspection rules for hazardous chemical common storage enable customers across Europe to implement their hazardous chemical management digitally, legally compliant and in accordance with international standards such as the SEVESO III directive and local regulations.

A leading provider focused on sustainability

Independent market research company Verdantix again confirmed this in 2021, listing Quentic as one of the leading providers on software solutions for occupational safety and environmental management in “Green Quadrant EHS Software 2021”, its global benchmark study of the industry. The research company is increasing its focus on environmentally and socially responsible company leadership (Environment, Social, Governance – ESG). The software study highlighted Quentic’s strengths in the realm of sustainability management. “The growing influence of ESG criteria is not just an ostensibly strong argument for investment in these areas for our customers, but for us as well,” says Markus Becker, CEO of Quentic. “Our software solutions should meet even the highest demands in this field. But Quentic as a company also wants to set an example for sustainable economic activity,” Becker emphasizes. The company has not just strengthened its position in the ESG field over the past year, but also joined the United Nations Global Compact, formally declaring its intention to run the company in a responsibility-conscious manner and in alignment with the Global Compact’s Ten Principles and Sustainable Development Goals.
