OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada, May 15, 2023 – FigBytes (now Quentic), creators of the leading ESG Solution for impact-focused organizations, today announced it has been awarded certification from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). FigBytes (now Quentic) customers can advance their ESG and sustainability programs with greater efficiency, generating reports aligned with the GRI Standards, directly from the platform.

GRI is a provider of one of the most well-recognized sustainability reporting standards. As many as 78% of the world’s 250 largest companies complete their annual sustainability reports using the GRI Standards. GRI provides a framework to support environmental, economic, and social reporting, and is a common starting point for businesses launching a new sustainability program. Over 160 policies in more than 60 countries and regions reference or require GRI.

“We’re pleased that FigBytes has met all the necessary requirements for the GRI Certified Software and Tools Program,” said Ted Dhillon, CEO and co-founder, FigBytes (now Quentic). “With our pre-defined configuration for GRI, our report builder conveniently produces this voluntary carbon disclosure report, pulling real-time data directly from the ESG Solution. Whether our customers are reporting to the GRI framework or any other sustainability reporting standard, we’ve made the entire process of preparing and sharing reports incredibly simple with built in data verification and quality control to ensure the highest level of accuracy, reliability, and consistency.”

“GRI is committed to enabling any organisation – large or small, private or public – to understand and report on their impacts on the economy, environment and people in a comparable and credible way,” said Piers Horner, Lead of the Licensing Program at GRI. “We are pleased that FigBytes has joined our growing list of Licensed Software Partners, helping their clients to use the GRI Standards to fulfil their sustainability reporting needs.”
