The Berlin-based company returns to independence – with a clear focus: helping industrial and regulated organizations manage occupational safety, environmental, and sustainability obligations on a single AI-enabled platform.

Quentic, a leading European software provider for environment, health, and safety (EHS) and sustainability management, announced today that the company has successfully separated from AMCS Group, re-establishing itself as a standalone business. With this move, Quentic positions itself as a focused, European-rooted specialist for mid-size and large industrial and regulated organizations across Europe. As a standalone business, Quentic will independently drive its strategy, future product roadmap, and investment decisions – fully aligned with the needs of EHS and ESG teams.

Quentic will continue to be backed by the same investor group, including EQT, whose commitment provides Quentic the support for further future growth across Europe.

“This independence allows us to do one thing exceptionally well: we focus on serving our customers’  occupational safety, environmental, and sustainability teams, who count on us. This focus is the strongest promise we can make to our customers,” says Florian Lichtwald, CEO of Quentic.

Rooted in Europe, Invested in Europe

Becoming independent reinforces Quentic's claim to being a European provider with European data hosting and European decision-making sovereignty – at a time when digital sovereignty is becoming more strategically important for regulated organizations in Europe.

“European organizations want to know that critical EHS and sustainability data is in the hands of a partner rooted in Europe and thinking European,” says Florian Lichtwald. “This is exactly who we are and what we do, alongside consistently delivering innovation and value to our customers.”

What This Means for Customers

For Quentic's customers, this move means continuity with a sharpened focus. The platform, teams, contracts, and support continue without interruption, while the company's full attention and investment concentrate on EHS and sustainability.

The announcement comes at a time when European organizations are managing growing operational requirements from regulation – for example in occupational safety, supply chain due diligence, and sustainability reporting. Quentic sees itself as an operational platform that helps teams meet these requirements on a single system – rather than across disconnected tools and manual work.
